This stunning Art Nouveau revival headdress was created with authentic vintage & antique jewelry materials in shades of pearlescent purple, black, and silver. The highly detailed serpents are metal stampings which date back to circa 1910.

The headdress is fashioned from an iridescent black (has a somewhat silvery hematite gleam) beaded chain which gracefully rests atop the head (you can further secure it with bobby pins or barrettes if desired), and cascades down to a writhing silverplated serpent on either side. Thesea are accented with hand-blown purple antique Czech glass drops, matching self fringe, and an extra long, pearlescent purple center drop topped in silver filigree. The headdress measures approx. 23 1/2" long from end to end and the chain portion measures approx. 12" across.

As this is made from authentic vintage & antique materials, there could be some slight imperfections, but the overall effect is quite beautiful and adds to its sense of history & charm and will make you feel so very decadent, dripping in jewels like an exotic princess or priestess from another place and time.
