Featured in the "Gothic: Dark Glamour" fashion exhibit at the Museum at FIT in New York City, and in the book by the same name, this fit & flare design from Kambriel is inspired by the infamous queen Isabella of Spain. This fitted full-length (approx. 51" long) coatdress styled jacket from a special limited edition deep purple plum moiré bengaline has an eye-catching, yet subtle look as it catches shadows and reflects the light. The design has flattering princess seams and lacing in the back to cinch in the waist, a high stand-up collar, and modified leg o' mutton sleeves for a neo-Victorian silhouette. The jacket closes down the front with a plethora of handcovered matching fabric buttons.
This style is unlined, yet well-finished inside, so it can still be worn in warmer weather or used for layering when it's cooler. Offered in women's sizes based on chest measurement.
