This stunning amulet necklace is created from authentic vintage
& antique jewelry materials in shades of pearlescent purple,
black, and silver. The highly detailed serpent is a metal stamping
which dates to circa 1910. The necklace itself is an iridescent black
(has a somewhat silvery hematite gleam) beaded silvertone chain which
cascades down to a centerpiece featuring a writhing silverplated
serpent accented with antique hand-blown amethyst purple Czech glass
drops, and an extra long, vintage pearlescent purple center drop capped
in silver filigree. The serpent is connected to the beaded chain with
pearlescent purple beads shaped like freshwater pearls and detailed
pewter findings. The necklace closes with a clasp at the back, and
measures approx. 17 7/8" long (the chain portion measures approx. 25"
in circumference).
As this is made from authentic vintage & antique materials,
there could be some slight imperfections, but the overall effect is
quite beautiful and adds to its sense of history & charm...
