This tailcoat is made from vibrant scarlet red cotton velvet, with
black patent vinyl lining at the inside of the standing collar, and
contrasting black braided trim accenting the side fronts. This design
is meant to be left open in the front, and the chest measures approx.
42", but the cut of the jacket seems to run small, so we would
recommend it for someone with a chest closer to 37". The seams were a
bit strangely cut where the shoulder goes into the collar, so that area
had to be somewhat gathered. The jacket's length in front is approx. 19
1/2", the back length is 41 1/2", and the sleeve length is 23 1/2".
