This jacket is inspired by a combination of temple dancers and stringed
puppets, blended together with a futuristic Victorian flair. Originally
created for Summer of The
Machine in the Garden to
celebrate their "Shadow Puppets" cd, this
neo-Victorian bustled jacket creates an extremely flattering
silhouette, while remaining quite comfortable to wear. The jacket is
made from rich black brocade, with fitted sleeves trimmed with
graduated lengths of trailing ribbon. It buttons up the front with
matching fabric buttons, has a v-neckline, and bustled back created by
artful pleatwork at the sides.
