This jacket is inspired by a combination of temple dancers and stringed puppets,
blended together with a futuristic Victorian flair. Originally created for Summer of The Machine in
the Garden to celebrate their "Shadow Puppets" cd, this neo-Victorian bustled jacket
creates an extremely flattering silhouette, while remaining quite comfortable to wear.
The background of the jacket is made from rich black bengaline, accented with contrasting red satin ribbons.
It buttons up the front with matching fabric buttons, has fitted sleeves trimmed with graduated lengths of trailing ribbon, a v-neckline,
and bustled back created by artful pleatwork at the sides.
