Fairy Moth Skirt

Straight from the forest of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" enters Fairy Moth, an ethereal vision who joyfully seeks the beauty and brightness in the night to reflect with her gosammer wings. Moth approaches wearing an eye-catching skirt which has a yoke made from a soft ivory faille which is accented with a plethora of hand knotted and applied strips of various frothy ivory and white fabrics including antique/vintage lace, cottons, and satin ribbon over a long layer of sheer ivory petticoat crinoline. This elegantly tattered skirt measures approx. 41 1/2" long from waist to hem, and the yoke measures approx. 11 1/2" long. The waist is elasticized for comfort, and measures approx. 27" unstretched (we can make this smaller if need be ~ just include your waist measurement when ordering if desired), but will easily stretch up to 40" or so to fit larger sizes as well. The hips (non-stretch) measure approx. 46" max, and the overall length of the long crinoline underlayer is approx. 40" long in front- 42" in the back ~ feel free to let us know when ordering if you need the underlayer to be hemmed any shorter & we'll be happy to do so.

In the last four photos, the skirt is being shown being worn atop a full length black skirt which is not included. In the first photo, it is being worn on its own (no underskirt), paired with the matching Moonlight Bustle Jacket & Veiled Headdress.
