This dramatic vintage tunic is made from delicate semi-sheer black silk
georgette lined in rayon chiffon with a Gothic Art Déco
spiderweb design in lustrous iridescent black sequins & pearly
white beads. It has side slits leaving it open at the hips ~ perfect
for layering! PLEASE NOTE: Authentic vintage with quite a few missing
beads & sequins ~ but plenty left to highlight the design
& lend lots of shimmer! I kept the white threads in some places
missing white beads since it continues their outline & gives a
good map if you'd like to add beads at some point. If wearing, just be
mindful there could be some additional bead/sequin loss.
SIZING: The fabric drape allows
some give, so the chest "relaxed" is approx. 34", but stretches to
approx. 39", the waist ranges from around 30" (drapes well on smaller
sizes too) to approx. 34". The lower side openings leave the hip area
open. Overall length in front is approx. 43 1/2" long from shoulder to
hem, and the mid-3/4 length sleeves rest elegantly on the forearms. Due
to delicacy of beadwork and material, this could also be an amazing
display piece.
