Rare John Fluevog Original 1994 Swordfish
Rosemary Womens Gothic Boots UK 5 US 7

These are original John Fluevog Rosemary Swordfish boots circa 1994. They were bought NOS from Noir Leather back in the day. There is one small superficial nick in one of the boot's toes - this is how they arrived/were sold to me - it is approx. 1/4" long, and I never considered it a big deal (please see photos). When received, I took these to my local cobbler and had "Cat's Paw" traction added to the soles, as well as having the heel caps tacked in place (just as a precaution, as one of these popped off one of the heels of the Karen Swordfish shoes I had from the same collection). These were only worn for a couple of photo shoots while I've had them, as you can see from the condition of the soles. I love this style, and still have the shoes, but it's time for the boots to go to a new home where they will be loved and enjoyed.

These Swordfish boots are made in a black textured leather, with the signature swirl pattern of this collection. These are vintage, old school witchy goth boots from when Fluevogs were still Made in England. They are high quality - lined in leather, with round cotton lacing, and a signature angled heel. The heel measures approx. 1 7/8" tall, and the boots are approx. 11 1/4" in height. They are a women's UK size 5/US size 7, and the foot bed measures approx. 11 1/4" from the back of the heel to the tip of the pointed toe. I have only used sandal soap and leather conditioner on these boots, so it still has the contrasting stitching. They are beautiful, and ready for new adventures! The Swordfish shoes and boots from Fluevog were the height of their gothic phase, and even their reproduction versions of the shoes and boots are quite expensive, so I think these are being offered at a very reasonable price for these vintage icons. You're not likely to find another pair of these original Swordfish boots, let alone, in this condition.
