Enchanting Art Nouveau Antique Silverplated Metal Wedding Basket with Woodland Nymph

This enchanting antique Art Nouveau dish features a wonderfully ethereal tree nymph or dryad exploring out & about in her natural element. The whole vignette is framed in beautifully three dimensional flowering vines. It also has a swinging handle so you can pick the basket up to use, or let it rest when on display.

CONDITION & SIZE: Being antique, there are some expected signs of natural wear and a romantic time-worn patina which has formed over the past 100+ years. The basket is made from a gleaming silverplated metal atop a warmer-tone base which shines through here & there. It measures approx. 11 1/4" x 8 7/8" overall, with a bowl height of approx. 2 3/4", and general height including handle of approx. 9". Would add an elegantly whimsical touch to any decor, or make a cherished gift for years to come!
