Antique Art Nouveau Poppy German Silver Framed Mesh Reticule Purse

This antique Art Nouveau reticule purse dates back to the late 1800s/early 1900s & is made from German Silver (not Sterling) with a shadowy timeworn patina. The ornate frame features an elegant design of poppies along the top and sides. The mesh portion is linked in such a way that the purse has a nice flare to give a bit more carrying room. The purse itself measures approx. 6 3/4" in length (approx. 16" long if including the chain handle) by 6 3/4" expanded width for the mesh portion, or approx. 5 1/4" when it's softly draped. Such a lovely relic of a bygone time ~ the best parts of which are kept alive by little treasures like this! Would make a truly wonderful gift...
