Rare 18K gold filled French Art Nouveau
TITRE FIXE Iris Ring Circa 1890-1905

This truly stunning ring featuring a stylized iris dates back to the height of the Art Nouveau era, and was made in France from highest quality 18k gold fill in two tones of gold ~ rose gold for the majority of the ring, with an accent of green gold for the leaf. I even found a scan of the original collection's catalogue page with this ring featured at the upper left, below the title (I don't have the catalogue itself, so this image is included for reference only). Most of this elegant line was sold as "FIX", but this ring is from the "TITRE FIXE" collection, which was reserved for their very best & highest quality pieces! It features a ruby red faceted crystal (untested, so could be glass) gem. I don't have a ring sizer, but estimate it to be approx size 5-5 1/2 ~ the inner diameter measures approx. 16mm across (varies a bit depending on where it's measured). There's some slight wear commensurate with age, but the ring is in absolutely *lovely* overall condition & ready for many years of enjoyment in its next enchanting chapter!
